The Blanco Renaissance Museum

If you are visual art lover and having holiday in Bali. Place that you should not miss to visit is Antonio Renaissance Museum. This museum stands on the hilly land which is known as Campuran Hill, Ubud since 1952. It takes only 15 minutes walk from Ubud traditional market to reach this museum. 

The building of museum is designed in the mix of Balinese and European art deco. It is also surrounded by Bird Park that conserves special endemic birds i.e. Cockatoo and Macau, studio where Don Antonio Blanco worked, family temple which is completed by the performance area, and private house.

Along the wall of this museum, feminism reflected in each of Antonio’s master piece. By seeing his works, you will know more than just understood the beauty within a woman. The object in his paintings is dominated by female figure which show that woman is the master piece of God. In his painting, he also expressed his deep love to his family especially to his wife “Ni Rondji”. He mostly used his wife as the object in his paintings. Now this museum is managed by his son Mario Blanco who also follows his father’s footprint as an artist.

This place is waiting for visitors everyday at 9 am until 5 pm. To enjoy the exclusive passionate feminist  painting you need IDR 30.000 for local tourists and IDR 50.0000 for international tourist. Have impressive experience in the hospitality and beauty of Blanco Renaissance Museum!
